JVS Celebrating – 25 Years – 2021
Republic day
Republic day was celebrated on 26th January at Mermier Bal Ashram. There was hoisting of our National flag followed by cultural program which highlighted the varied cultures of India
Drawing Competition
Drawing Competition was conducted on 20th February. The competition was based on present situation of India. Winners were awarded with attractive prizes
Holi : Celebration of Colours
Holi Festival was celebrated at the Ashram. It was a memorable experience fo the ashram children
Covid 19 Awareness
Covid 19 awareness session was held at the Mermier Bal Ashram on 12th April. The session was conducted by Fathers and Sisters of the Ashram. Children were educated about the protection from Corona Virus
Online Classes
Online Classes were started for Children from 20th June as they could not attend regular school
Tuition Classes
As the Children were finding difficult to understand the lesson at the online classes, tuition were conducted. Tuition were provided to children from class 5 to class 10
Rakshabandhan
Children from Vaduz Home tied Rakhis to Children from Mermier Bal Ashram on Raksha Bandan
Singing Competition
Teacher’s day was celebrated on 5th September. Singing competition was held. Children who were excellent in their performance won exciting prizes
Counselling
Counselling session was arranged for the children of the Mermier Ashram. This counselling session helped children to choose the right career and provided awareness to them about the present situation
Yoga
Yoga classes were arranged for Ashram Children so that they can know and learn how to remain fit and healthy
Florin Home – Panvel
Pongal Celebration
Pongal was celebrated on 17th January to help Ashram Children understand and appreciate the culture of South India. Different types of dishes were prepared for Children. Games were conducted followed by distribution of prizes
Drawing Competition
Drawing Competition was held on 10th February at Florin Home. Children who won the competition were given prizes
Sports Day
Sports day was conducted on 13th March. Various types of Games such as Carrom, Chess and Cricket were held.
Online Class
Online classes for students from 10th Standard started on 20th June. Children were provided with Mobile to attend online class.
Essay Competition
Essay Competition was conducted for 10th Standard on 15th July on the topic of Covid 19 and winners were appreciated by giving them exciting prizes
Handicraft Competition
On Independence day (15th August), Handicraft competition was organized for the Children. Children made different types of craft like wall hanging, 3D flower and paper chain
Vaduz Ballika Ashram
Dance
Dance is a therapy to keep the person healthy. The girls are taught to dance in order to keep fit, to forget their pain, be creative and discover their talent
Story Telling
Story telling is a means of being creative, It also helps children to increase their memory power. Such story telling competition are held at regular intervals
Yoga and Meditation
Children do Yoga and Meditation every morning which helps them increase their concentration
Counselling
Children who come to Vaduz Ashram are from poverty stricken situation and may be victims of abuse. Children are given counselling in order to accept their condition and move positively in life
Celebration
Children celebrate national and religious festivals and express their creativity during these celebrations
